Sessions are booked by number of dogs, not length, artwork, or digital images.

  • A focused studio portrait experience created entirely around one dog.

    Each session is thoughtfully planned using a custom color guide, with background tones chosen to complement your dog’s coat, personality, and presence. The pace is unhurried and responsive, allowing space for natural expressions and quiet moments to emerge.

    You’ll select three finished images from your gallery — portraits designed to live beyond a screen.

  • A studio portrait experience created for two dogs from the same household.

    The session is planned with balance and relationship in mind — how the dogs move together, where their energy overlaps, and how color can support both without competing. Background tones are selected intentionally to complement each dog while keeping the work cohesive.

    You’ll select three finished images from your gallery — portraits that reflect both individuality and connection.

  • A studio portrait experience created for three dogs from the same household.

    This session allows additional space for pacing, transitions, and group dynamics — giving each dog room to settle individually while still creating portraits that reflect the relationship between all three. Color and backdrop choices are planned to support harmony across the set, even when personalities differ.

    Every session is paced for your dog’s comfort, with breaks for treats, scratches, and potty stops. I use toys, sound cues, and a few tried-and-true techniques to bring out their personality.

    The session is long enough to capture special expressions, but short enough to keep your dog engaged and enjoying the experience with their favorite human… you!

  • After

    Within two weeks, you’ll receive a private gallery of the 15 best images, retouched in my signature style with backgrounds toned to perfectly complement your dog.

    From this gallery, you’ll select and download your three included high-resolution JPGs. You can also order wall art, prints, or albums directly from the gallery, with every purchased artwork including its digital file.

Every session results in three artist-selected, fully finished portraits—chosen to represent your dog as they truly are.

If one of the finished images doesn’t feel like your dog, you may request a replacement from the session proofs, and I’ll complete a new final edit at no additional cost.

After Requesting a Portrait Session

Once you fill out the session request form, I’ll email you the next three available session dates based on your preferred day and time. After we land on a date, you’ll receive a digital contract and invoice to complete online.

Once everything’s signed and paid, your session is officially booked!

You’ll then receive a Session Questionnaire to help me get to know you and your pup, and I’ll put together a custom Hue+Hound Color Guide with my top background color suggestions so your dog will look their best.
